❖ Just this month: From our base in Liberia Darius recently meet with over 30 other ministry leaders from 15 African countries to continue ongoing plans to train up 10,000 new sports ministry leaders each year; and Amos and Darius are each running soccer tournaments in two different areas in Liberia.
❖ I love the World Cup for many reasons. One of those is the opportunities it brings us to connect with others. Sammy Surge and I have World Cup outreaches – I helped designed a soccer camp for Iglesia Avalon in Ft Wayne, Indiana where we will be July 13-18; then we will help host 300-500 refugees for a World Cup Finals viewing party at Morningstar church in Salem, Oregon on July 19th and follow up by visiting with the refugee kids at a soccer camp August 3 & 5.
