It was a phone call from Dana to Surge President Dave Irby that launched Surge into Liberia, through an amazing and challenging process. Even though Dana has not visited Liberia, yet; behind the scenes Dana and his wife Lisa have supported us every step of the way with prayer, financial support, and wise counsel. Dana is currently involved in high level soccer projects across the globe.

EtureSports – Valencia, Spain / Technical Director – USA January 2017 – Current
Oversee GAP Year Program for EtureSports in Valencia, Spain. Specifically, scout and identify players in the United States of America for year a long stay in Valencia, Spain and assist in placing Spanish Players in division I colleges across the country.

Mustang Soccer Club – Director of Analytics June 2022 – Current
The largest Soccer Club (6,000 players) in Northern California. Responsible for overseeing the video analysis and analytics program for 12 ECNL Boys & Girls teams in the BEPro11 analytics systems. Mustang Soccer Club have been ranked as one of the top 20 Soccer Clubs in the United States the last two years.

Darkhorse AI Analytics September 2023 – Current
Working as an advisor and designer to create a soccer specific platform for coaches and players. This is the first patented AI technology in the world that incorporates bio-data technology into the platform. Currently, designing version 4.0.

USYS ODP National Team – 2011 Boys / Head Coach January 2021 – Currently Responsible for selecting the National Team, players made up from the four Regional Teams (72 players).

Dana has coached at all levels including with multiple university and professional teams. His list of credentials includes his US Soccer ‘A’ License; Spanish Badge – “Masters of Coaching” – Madrid, Spain; United Soccer Coaches – “Advanced National Diploma”
